Mon deuxième tableau d’après Hopper est un petit tableau carré de 20cm vert et bleu. Des passager sont calmement en train d’attendre que quelque chose arrive dans leur vie, dans le soleil violent d’une aprés midi d’été….

Painting Hopper seemed so easy. Maybe because I was looking forward to paint. I stopped painting three day and on the fourth day i felt the urgence to paint.
Here I go on with the Duffy technique: deciding the format after in using a large piece of canvas. I let the canvas during all the time I painted, then I cut the painting. This has the inconvenience to let some canvas useless on one side: this large part can’t be used and when I cut the painting I let this 15 cm on the right in plus which I will give like that, beeing impossible to paint on 15cm canvas…
